Scammer Betty Harris

I received a flirt from a Betty Harris, 31, divorced, mother of a 4 yr old daughter Teresa on SeniorPeopleMeet dating site. She was younger and more attractive than most of my responses so I replied and we started emailing off of the site on a daily basis. In typical scammer fashion she was in Love with me in a week with a Declaration of Love even though wed never met or even talked on the phone which I tried to do without success. She had many attractive photos on her profile. She told me she was raised in Connecticut and graduated from Sacred Heart University in Art History and Interior Design. She had a photo of her in cap and gown with her diploma. She also said she studied abroad in Florence and Rome, Italy and traveled internationally with her parents who died several years ago in an auto accident. She said she caught her husband of 5 years in bed with her best friend and moved to San Francisco to get away from him. However when she contacted me she was supposedly in London, England to purchase some antiques for her Interior Design business and hoped to be back to San Francisco in a week. She supposedly completed her purchases and was arranging to have them shipped to San Francisco. Suddenly the British banks wouldnt cash her check without a 3 week delay and she was out of cash as shed cancelled her credit cards because she discovered her ex was using them. She owed the hotel money and couldnt pay for the antiques shed purchased. She asked for my financial help via Western Union and I was about to send her some funds when I realized she could be scamming me. I looked on Facebook and found her. One of her friends was also named Betty had an absolutely identical description, education, and profession. The Facebook description was identical to the word to the Betty Harris I’d met. She also had a 4 yr old daughter studied interior design overseas and her husband had cheated on her. I cancelled the Western Union money transfer and shared my discovery of her identical Facebook friend. I said I thought she could be a con artist. She responded that Id broken her heart and the only way her heart could heal was if I would send her the money. I passed on being another of her victims.
