I originally received a friend request on Facebook on February 15, 2018, one day after I joined a closed Facebook group called Pitlove. After briefly talking on Instant Messenger we switched to text and phone calls. He claimed to be a pilot for Copa Airlines and to live in Los Angeles, CA. He claimed his wife and three of his children were killed in a grocery store shooting and that he had one son left. Claimed to be religious and quoted the Bible. Quickly professed his love and sent nude photos. Asked me to come to CA and stated that if I told him the airport nearest to my home he would fly there. Said he could fly me anywhere I wanted to go and that he was a millionaire. Then claimed that he flew to South Africa and was stuck there because of issues with the airplane and needed $5150 to get it fixed. Then asked for money for food and hotel bill. Money was sent by Western Union and picked up in Nigeria by Emmanuel Gidah. Asked to talk over WhatsApp. When I stopped talking to him at one point he claimed to have attempted suicide and that he would kill himself if I left him and his blood would be on my hands. Asked me to marry him a couple of times and promised we would be together forever.
