Report

I joined seniorpeoplemeet.com and thought I met the man of my dreams, Italian national, charming. What struck me as strange that he kept put off meeting me, didn’t have a cell. I mentioned I was sending my daughter up to the Albany area where he allegedly lived to check him out and do a background/criminal check and the next thing I know, he’s in Malaysia stranded with 300 cars in port. I called the only two customs ports, no cars. Oh he can’t feed his 11 YO son, they’re hungry, need $3,500. I told him to get a job, go to a church/mission/Red Crescent (our version of Red Cross) for help, even gave him the phone numbers and addresses for these places. Oh, his passport is in his “box” and customs took it and until he pays some bills, he can’t leave. I called the foreign minister in Italy, guess what? No Donald Cornell had a passport issued. Called the Italian embassy in Kuala Lumpur, same thing. This guy is donaldcornell91yahoo.com.
Also, you can check out someone’s email location and address on spokeo.com. This Donald Cornell lives in California. Track these idiots down and pass the IP addresses on to local law enforcement, FBI, and the attorney genera in your area. I wasn’t scammed because I refused to give this guy any money, but the embarassment I feel and having my heart broken has really gotten me proactive about catching these guys.
Here’s an update on Donald Cornell … his phone is 2348083001819, Airtel in Lagos. When I confronted with all the info I had and that I had tracked “him” down … a managerial sort came back with a response of “You are a very dangerous woman to us.” I blocked and turned in to FBI. These guys are very, very good. My one and only experience with Internet dating.

  1. Bev, I would love to talk to you. In case anyone hasn’t picked up, look at the writing style in the email, very Nigerian. Appears our beloved scammer has infiltrted. I am legitimate and can provide credentials. I can also provide a conversation history, and FBI/Interpol/Nigerian contacts. As far as this guy’s loving wife, she is allegedly French and they are divorced. His son is in a hospital in Lagos and he needs money for drugs/medication. Anyone interested, my email is indeed chi_havenlive.com, legal_resources @live.com (professional) and personal is suz_pavlov@hotm ail.com. Please feel free to email me.
Please, please, please, as has been said below, if you are going to use a dating site, check out the men/women responding to your profile BEFORE you get involved. Anyone who insists you go to yahoo, immediately get suspicious. If they use “cos” “i”, and the English is pathetically poor, your red flags should go up. If they immediately profess they love you, think about it, how do you fall in love WITHOUT ever seeing a person, meeting them, or getting to know them? If they sound too good to be true, THEY ARE A SCAMMER! If they ask for money, they are a scammer. Turn that email address, photographs, and online conversation to the FBI, Interpol, and the Nigerian police. Have it recorded on romancescams.org. Please, help us put a stop to this nonsense!
Oh, and something that just occurred to me, when I refused to give donaldcornell91 any money, I received one of those Nigerian 911 scam letters from this Michael D whereby he indicated he was stranded in London and wanted me to western union money to a London address to someone by the last name of Cole. If anyone receives a Nigerian 911 scam letter, these should be forwarded to the London police department and Interpol. You will receive confirmation back that it has been received. Also send it to the local London embassy.
